The Deposit

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $250.00 is required in order to proceed with an adoption.

That deposit will be used as a partial payment on the puppy you wish to  adopt and that amount will be deducted from the balance owing.

All deposits must be sent to eChihuahuas care of Jasmine C. Bourassa, in the form of cash, certified check,  money order.

No personal checks will be accepted as a deposit  reserving a puppy.

Once you have reserved a puppy either by e-mail or by phone, the breeder will retain the puppy for you for a period not to exceed 7 days while the breeder waits for your deposit to arrive.

The puppy will remain showing as available until the breeder receives the deposit.

Once the deposit is received, your puppy will be shown as pending until the sum of puppy is received.

Then it will be listed as sold in one of my albums which you can visit on  my website.

If the deposit is not received within the 7 days after the reservation was made then that puppy will be offered to the next person on our waiting list.

The breeder and the buyer will come to an agreement concerning pick-up or delivery date of the puppy that has been adopted.

The buyer must give the breeder all pertinent information about himself, such as full name, home address, and phone number and e-mail address so that the buyer can be easily reached in the years to come after the purchase of the dog.  Inform the breeder should that information change.  We like to stay in touch with our eChihuahuas.

Should the original buyer decide to sell or give the dog, we would want to be given the oppurtunity to take back the puppy or dog.  Again, we like to know where our dogs are.

The deposit is used to retain the specified puppy.  No changes can be made in terms of choosing a different puppy.

The only reason the buyer may refuse the purchase or offer another puppy is if the puppy chosen was declared very ill without any chance of a full recovery.

If for any reason the breeder would accept that a change be made, the puppy chosen would have to be of same value as the original puppy.

If the new puppy chosen were of superior quality or smaller size, then the buyer would have to pay the difference in price, which would be higher as determined by the breeder.

To place a deposit means reserving your eChihuahuas pet and it is unconditionally non-refundable.
